FILE SAO PAULO – SUBMISSIONS
The registrations for FILE – Electronic Language International Festival are open. Until March 01, 2011 artists may send works to participate in the 12th edition of the Festival, that will happen from July 18 to August 28, 2011, in São Paulo (Brazil).

Starting from this year, FILE will continually receive registrations through its site. Therefore, works registered after the deadline for the São Paulo edition will be considered for succeeding editions of the Festival, properly announced through its official website. Moreover, starting from this year, registrations will be made exclusively online. The registration form will be sent concurrently with the respective work through the FILE website.

Categories of works for registration are:

ELECTRONIC SONORITY
Electronic sonority concerns to all researches and experiences in the wide scope of sounds, having therefore a wider comprehension than the ambit of music, and open to possible transversalities with other disciplines, such as: sound performance, sound installations, sound art, genetic music, radio art, sound landscape, video music, sound poetry, and so on.

INTERACTIVE ARTS
Interactive arts encompasses all research and experiences in the ambit of art that use interactive media and which take in consideration the intersection among art, science and technology, as well as the possible transversalities with other disciplines, being: installations, performances, internet projects, virtual reality, multitouch tables, digital objects, outdoor projections, VRML, and so on.

DIGITAL LANGUAGE
As digital language are understood all the research and experiences in the wide scope of the multiple disciplines that use digital media, as well as the possible transversalities among them, being: digital games (in all their modalities), animation (in all its modalities), digital films, digital architecture, artificial life, biologic art, software art, new interfaces, hypertext, digital picture-panoramas, and so on.
