FILE – Electronic Language International Festival, is the major festival of its gender in Latin America. Besides motivating and promoting art and technology, FILE foments the convergence of artists and people related to the area, such as critics, scholars or just enthusiastic visitors, mainly through FILE SYMPOSIUM and WORKSHOP.

Until March 01, 2011, the Festival will receive through its website registrations from people interested in presenting one or both modalities in its 12th edition, that will happen from July 18 to August 28, 2011, in São Paulo.

Of the categories:

FILE Symposium is a space for debates, meetings and theoretical lectures on subjects related to the digital languages. It was conceived with the intent of enlarging to an international scope the discussion on electronic digital culture in its interdisciplinary extension, discussion which is already promoted, instigated and publicized by FILE, in its exhibition of works and expressions of the major aesthetic and scientific manifestations of electronic digital culture.

This is one of this year’s novelties. For a few years now, FILE has offered its visitors the opportunity to participate in workshops promoted by artists who take part in the Festival. Since that interest has constantly grown, from the part of visitors as well as from artists interested in giving workshops, starting from this edition FILE also opens registrations for that category. If you are interested in participating as a speaker, please fill up the registration form:
