Frame & Frequency VI
\nis an ongoing International Film & Video Art Screening Series presented by VisArts located in Rockville, Maryland (just outside of Washington DC) that highlights artists whose new media, experimental film, and video works explore contemporary visual culture, and presents an intimate panorama of the variety and breadth of video art in artistic practice today.<\/p>\n
This years edition will take the form of an Experimental Short Film & Video Festival during the Rockville Arts Festival May 2nd & 3rd.<\/p>\n
Frame & Frequency aims to present a diverse group of artists representing multi-generational and cultural backgrounds, nationalities and personal histories, while demonstrating the artists\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 impressive command of video and new media technologies.<\/p>\n
All selected artists will receive $50 screening fees<\/p>\n

1st Place: $300
\n2nd Place: $200
\n3rd Place: $100<\/p>\n

https:\/\/filmfreeway.com\/FrameFrequencyVI<\/a> Submission specifications:<\/p>\n Video, sound art (up to 8 channels), film, and new media work will be accepted: experimental, documentary, animation, narrative, non-narrative, multimedia, virtual reality, augmented reality, net art, interactive media, etc.<\/p>\n \u00ef\u00bb\u00bfAll foreign language moving image artworks must have English subtitles.<\/p>\n Video\/Sound Art: You may submit up to 3 works. Videos must be in .mp4 file format. Maximum length of 15 minutes. Sound Art files can be either.mp3 or .wav format.
