ARTE Cultural Association is announcing an art fai raimed at promoting and exhibiting Emerging Artists. The competition entails the selection of 100 artists from 7 categories Painting\/ Drawing\/Photography\/Video & Performance\/Sculpture Mixed Media \/ Design\/Digital Art\/Street Art. Art. 2 -EligibilityThis open call is open to all contemporary artists. <\/p>\n Art. 3 \u00e2\u20ac\u201cRegistration Terms and ConditionsArtists wishing to submit an artwork must registerby 1st of July 2020 using one of the following methods: Art. 4 \u00e2\u20ac\u201cApplication FeeThe registration fee, which covers part of the organizing costs, is Euros 15 (fifteen)<\/strong> for the Early Bird Applications \u00e2\u20ac\u201cuntil May 10th Euros 30 (thirty) for Regular application\u00e2\u20ac\u201cuntil 1stof July<\/strong>. The registration fee should be paid in Euros, and applicants are responsible for paying any bank fees or commission.Fees are not refundable. The acceptable payment methods are:-Online by credit cardvia PayPal on http:\/\/www.reafair.com\/open-call<\/a> (if the card is not registered in the artist’s name, please write both the name of the holder and the name of the artist at info@reafair.com<\/a> Art. 5 -ImagesWorks of art entered in the Art Fair categories will be published onlineon the REA website and social media channels. At no additional cost, each artist will have a personal page featuring the artwork in the contest, and up to three other artworks that complement it along with descriptions.<\/p>\n Art. 6 \u00e2\u20ac\u201cSelection A seven-member curatorial panel will select the worksand participating artists. After the initial short-listing of the submissions, selected artists will be asked to send their original artworks to be included in the exhibitionnot later than October 1st2020.All transportation costs (delivery of the artwork to the Organization premises and its return to the artist) shall be covered by the participants. <\/p>\n Art. 11 -Deadlines Art Fair -from 30th Octoberto 1st November 2020 Art. 13 \u00e2\u20ac\u201cLiability and InsuranceThe organization, Associazione Culturale REA ARTE, will ensure the greatest care of the artworks in its custody. However, it will not be liable for theft, fire or any damages to artworks or people that might occur during the organization of the event. Any insurance request should be submitted directly by the participants.The chosen artists will sign a consignment contract with REA ARTE for the specific number of artworks. The consignment contract further specifies that for all in-fair transactions there is 35% sales commission on behalf of REA ARTE.<\/p>\n Art. 14 \u00e2\u20ac\u201cAgreementParticipants authorize the Associazione Culturale REAARTEand its legal representative to use their personal data according to the Italian privacy law (Legislative Decree 675\/96 et seq. 196\/2003), including the entry into databanks managed by the organization. Participants shall grant all reproduction rights to the submitted artworks and texts, free of charge, to the Associazione Culturale REA ARTE and its legal representative, for the publication of the catalogue, publication on the fairwebsite and any other forms of communication, promotion and activities of the Organization. Submitted materials will not be returned. The Fairorganizers have the right to make a final decision on any matter that is not specified in these competition rules. The Organization reserves the right to amend these competition rules whennecessary.
