Aesthetica Short Film Festival (ASFF)<\/p>\n
The 2020 competition is looking for filmmakers who are pushing boundaries and telling bold, innovative stories in new ways. There are four weeks to go \u00e2\u20ac\u201c submissions close 31 May, 2020.<\/p>\n
We want to hear from filmmakers pushing the boundaries of cinema. ASFF is a landmark destination for talent discovery and independent filmmaking, sitting amongst the UK\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s most prestigious film festivals.<\/p>\n
Entries are still open for our 10th anniversary. Open to Shorts, Features, VR & 360 films.<\/p>\n
ASFF also accepts works across multiple genres including: Advertising, Animation, Artists\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 Film, Comedy, Dance, Documentary, Drama, Experimental, Family Friendly, Fashion, Music Video and Thriller.<\/p>\n
We are still planning on delivering the 2020 festival 4-8 November in York, UK.

\u00c2\u00a31,000 awarded to the Best of Festival Winner
\n Category winners are all nominated, but only one can take home the prestigious title.
\n Best in Category Awards
\n Each film in the Official Selection is eligible to win the best film in its category.
\n BAFTA Eligibility
\n ASFF is officially recognised by BAFTA, which means short films that are screened may be eligible for a BAFTA award in the future.
\n HIJACK Visionary Filmmaker Award
\n This award celebrates the achievement of directors with exception vision and offers a generous post-production package.
\n People\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Choice Award
\n All festivalgoers are invited to vote for their favourite film. This award is chosen by audiences throughout the festival\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s five day run.
