{"id":10922,"date":"2021-03-25T13:19:29","date_gmt":"2021-03-25T11:19:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/netex.nmartproject.net\/?p=10922"},"modified":"2021-03-25T13:19:29","modified_gmt":"2021-03-25T11:19:29","slug":"call-sunset-kino-award-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/netex.nmartproject.net\/?p=10922","title":{"rendered":"call: Sunset Kino Award 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Deadline: 16 May 2021<br \/>\nCall for entries<\/p>\n<p>International Call: Sunset Kino Award 2021<\/p>\n<p>Deadline: May 16th, 2021<\/p>\n<p>The Salzburger Kunstverein announces the inaugural call for the 2021 Sunset Kino Award for excellence in contemporary film and video.<\/p>\n<p>Supported by patrons \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Elke &#038; Harald,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d the award consists of two \u00e2\u201a\u00ac4,000 prizes, and screenings of the winning films at Sunset Kino, a film<br \/>\nfestival hosted by the Salzburger Kunstverein in the summer of 2021. The award is for professional artists aged 35 and younger working in<br \/>\ncontemporary film or video. Artists should submit films or videos they have made since the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis. Submitted work<br \/>\ndoes not have to be thematically related to Covid-19, only produced during this time. Applicants should have a significant professional<br \/>\npractise (ie. exhibitions or screenings in contemporary art institutions or film festivals). Only one film per candidate (maximum length of 60<br \/>\nminutes) may be submitted. This must be accompanied by a short preview (maximum three minutes) of the submitted film.<\/p>\n<p>Applications (in German or English) should take the form of a single word or pdf document by email to<br \/>\ninfo@salzburger-kunstverein.at (subject line: Sunset Kino Award 2021) in the following format:<br \/>\n1. One page cover letter with contact details and with hyperlinks to submitted film &#038; preview of film<br \/>\n(uploaded online via vimeo, youtube or other accessible platform, password protected is acceptable). A<br \/>\nshort description of the film may be included here.<br \/>\n2. Two page (maximum) CV listing exhibitions \/ screenings.<\/p>\n<p>Deadline for submissions: May 16th, midnight Central European Time, 2021. Late applications or<br \/>\napplications without previews or with incorrect criteria will not be reviewed. Please do not send DVDs<br \/>\nor .mov files. Only the successful candidates will be contacted.
