\nAPPLICATION
\nCall for entries for the sixth edition of the International Video Art Festival Over the Real.
\nThe Festival presents the most significant lines of research emerged in recent years in the international audiovisual arts. Over The Real aims to create an opportunity for meeting and
\npromotion for artists who work in the field of video art which favors visibility and contacts with the public, with curators, art critics and cultural institutions.
\nFrom this year a section dedicated to Virtual Reality will be open.
\nThere will be a selection of 10 single-channel audiovisual works and 5 VR audiovisual works. During the Festival, the artists will present their works through online talks with the
\nparticipation of important curators and critics.
\nThe selected works will show during the sixth edition of the International Video Art Festival Over The Real will be in Lucca in October 2021.
\nThe works will also be exhibited online on the website http:\/\/www.overthereal.com<\/a> and on the
\nconnected social platforms. In the event of a health emergency situation, due to Covid-19, the Festival could take place entirely online.<\/p>\n
\nTo participate in the selection, the organization asks the artists for payment of \u00e2\u201a\u00ac 15 (fifteen \/ Euro)<\/strong> as secretary rights and contribution to the realization of the event.<\/p>\n
\nArtists wishing to participate must be over 18 years old.
\n2- WORKS
\na) Each artist or group of artists may submit up to one video work.
\nb) No works are accepted with a date prior to 2020.
\nc) The file should be labeled with title, length, year, and author.
\nd) You can send a download link to the video file.
\ne) The file must be in a standard format currently in use.
\nf) We recommend that the file does not exceed 2GB (two gigabyte) in size, for easy
\ndownloading of the video.
\ng) The theme will be free.
\nh) May not be submitted works that have been presented in previous editions of Over The
\nReal.<\/p>\n
\na) Application form signed by the artist (below these lines).
\nb) Receipt of payment of \u00e2\u201a\u00ac 15 (fifteen \/ Euro) for secretary rights and contribution to the
\nrealization of the event

\na) Works can be submitted by download link until 11.59 pm on 30 May 2021.
\nb) The Festival by mid-July 2021 will send a confirm email to every artists whose works
\nwill be accept.<\/p>\n
\na) All works will become part of files Festival for use in cultural performances, noncommercial
\npurposes and as part of the event.
\nb) The jury is composed by the directors of Over The Real:
\nMaurizio Marco Tozzi, Lino Strangis, Veronica D’Auria<\/p>\n
\nworks. During the Festival, the artists will present their works through online talks with the
\nparticipation of important curators and critics.<\/p>\n
\nThe works submitted to the festival will not be returned to their authors. All works will
\nbecome part of the video library of the Festival and may be presented for cultural and \/ or
\neducational (in any not commercial case) by broadcast channels that the direction of the
\nfestival deems appropriate.<\/p>\n
\nThe organizers reserve the right the exhibition of the works that may be harmful to human
\nrights. Taking part in the festival implies full acceptance of these rules.<\/p>\n
\nexclusion from the competition. The applications that are not complete will not be
\nconsidered accepted.<\/p>\n
