INTERNATIONAL 212 PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

Turkey\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s pioneering international photography event 212 Photography Istanbul returns for
\nits fourth edition from October 1 to 11 at various special venues around the city. Aiming to
\ndiscover and showcase new talents, applications for this year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s International 212
\nPhotography Competition are now open to both professional and amateur photographers
\nworldwide and will be accepted until 6 September 2021.<\/p>\n
Meet The Jury of the International 212 Photography Competition
\nThe jury line-up of the 4th edition includes Photo London Director Michael Benson, Cultural
\nDirector for Magnum Photos New York Pauline Vermare, FOAM Head of Exhibitions Claartje
\nvan Dijk, diChroma Photography Director Anne Morin, Lecturer and Director of London
\nCollege of Fashion and Photographer Paul Bevan, Correspondent for The Art Newspaper
\nTom Seymour and Film Director and Screenwriter Tolga Kara\u00c3\u00a7elik.<\/p>\n
Submissions close on 17 September 2021<\/p>\n
Top ten finalists of the 4th International 212 Photography Competition will be announced on
\n22 September 2021 and the winner will be announced on 1 October 2021. <\/p>\n

\nThe ten-day long festival expands across Istanbul, including venues both on the Asian and
\nEuropean sides and offers a unique opportunity to foster interdisciplinary dialogue through photography.<\/p>\n
\nIstanbul also offers a multi-layered programme of onsite events, performances, film
\nscreenings and an international photography competition to create a multidisciplinary
\ncultural platform in Istanbul and an opportunity to rediscover the city.<\/p>\n
