\nCALL FOR ARTWORKS
\nAmsterdam Light Festival invites all artists, designers and other creatives to submit a light artwork for Edition #11! The theme is ‘In Search of the Miraculous’ and the festival dates are 1 December 2022 – 22 January 2023.<\/p>\n
THEME
\nWith the theme In Search of the Miraculous we delve into the magical character of light. Light has the unique ability to be both visible and intangible at the same time \u00e2\u20ac\u201c it is the ultimate means and messenger of things we can’t, or don’t want to explain. Light artworks create room for us to think about the play of mysterious powers and appearances, both in and outside of this world.<\/p>\n
SUBMISSION
\nSelection will be done based on certain criteria, such as the role of light and adherence to the briefing. The Artist Briefing contains all information needed to successfully submit your artwork and can be requested via the festival’s website. Deadline: Monday 28 March 2022 (12:00 CET).<\/p>\n
