All authors and performers of any age and nationality can submit works<\/p>\n
in one of these categories:
\n[A] Acousmatic ~ fixed media music. Multi-channel compositions are accepted.<\/p>\n[B] Mixed Media ~ for instruments and electronics\/ multimedia (fixed or live).\u00e2\u20ac\u00a8This year the [B] category is focused on the Ensemble in residence: OERKNAL!<\/p>\n
It is possible to submit works (already finished) using any combination of the following instruments\u00e2\u20ac\u00a8:
\ncello, clarinets, flutes, viola\/violin, piano & keyboards (no harpsichord), percussion| + conductor.<\/p>\n
Instruments not included in the list above are available in any combination anyway.<\/p>\n[C] AudioVisual ~ works with pre-prepared video and music.<\/p>\n[D] LivePerformance\/SoundArt ~ works that include electronics and other elements [for instance, a piece with a new interface, laptop, performer and interactive live video, real-time coding, laptop improvisation etc].<\/p>\n
Sound\/Media Installation are allowed<\/p>\n
The selection panel consists of professional and renowned
\ncomposers\/artists; it will assign:
\n* AWARDS of DISTINCTIONS | usually one per category | The jury reserves the right not to award all or any of prizes, as well as to award ex-aequo prizes if it sees fit.
