2022 Light Matter Experimental Film and Media Arts Festival
\nNovember 4-6, 2022<\/p>\n

The second annual Light Matter Festival will be held in person in Alfred, NY over the weekend of November 4-6.<\/p>\n

Light Matter is an annual festival dedicated to the artists moving image, seeking to bring together works of experimental film, video art, and the media arts. Conventional films need not apply. Preference will be given to shorts, but features will be considered.<\/p>\n

As a young festival with limited resources, Light Matter will present approximately four to six programs. Screenings will take place in Holmes Auditorium on the campus of Alfred University. Suitable works will also be selected for an exhibition in the TS1 \/ Harland Snodgrass Gallery, which features a range of possibilities for multi-channel work.
