\nRESIDENCY PROGRAMS
\nCURATOR’S HOME RESIDENCY<\/p>\n

Introduction
\nIn the present time there are about 120 active video festivals around the world, demonstrating the growing interest that this type of artistic medium has given to artistic communities. More or less turned to video art, documentary film, video performance, video dance, or more recently, interactive video, this was not lost on the artistic direction of the Festival FONLAD. With a growing number of participants – greatly outweigh the other areas of the festival – its artistic direction decided to bet more and more support on video, in the format of standard projection sessions scheduled, integrated into the main exhibition, or as recently, in its own facilities integrated into other events or festivals.<\/p>\n

Residency Program One: V\u00c3\u00addeo Performance (April 12 to 27, 2013)
\nThe artist selected for the Residency will have the possibility to work with an artist performer and develop together a v\u00c3\u00addeo work. Both artists (the v\u00c3\u00addeo artist and the performer) will be invited to present an intervention on the Line Up Action, the Performance Festival of Coimbra.
\nThe final work will be presented on April 27 at the Space For Arts, Media & Performance of the Alliance Fran\u00c3\u00a7aise of Coimbra.<\/p>\n

Acomodations
\nThe residency artists will be lodge at the curator\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s residency. It\u00c2\u00b4s possible to cook on the apartment.
\nArtists will have a studio for work with an Imac computer and a PC with compatible software.<\/p>\n

Schedule
\nReceipt of proposals: Until 28 February
\nSelection of proposals: First week of March
\nReception of the artists: April 12
\nResidency work Presentation: April 27
\nEnd of residency: April 28<\/p>\n

Conditions
\nFee: 150 euros
\nTravel costs and alimentation supported by the artist.<\/p>\n
