{"id":5002,"date":"2013-04-11T17:25:54","date_gmt":"2013-04-11T15:25:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nmartproject.net\/netex\/?p=5002"},"modified":"2013-04-11T17:25:54","modified_gmt":"2013-04-11T15:25:54","slug":"call-art-in-public-space","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/netex.nmartproject.net\/?p=5002","title":{"rendered":"call: Art in Public Space"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Call for entries<br \/>\n<strong>Deadline: 14 April 2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Call for Art in public space<\/p>\n<p>We welcome professional artists and artist groups to submit a proposal for a two dimensional artwork (size 16 m x 2.15 m) which will be publicly displayed in trainstatino in Zurich\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s (Switzerland) new business district.<br \/>\nWe are looking for artists who work with the topics urbanity, society, Global- and Glokalisation \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 The display in the public area can also be a window that offers connections and associations of different sorts.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Deadline 14. April 2013<br \/>\nArtist\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s fee 1000USD<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/17zwei.ch\">http:\/\/17zwei.ch<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Application guideline:<br \/>\nApplications must be submitted in English or German.<br \/>\nEach applicant may submit only one concept.<br \/>\n>  The application should include:<br \/>\n  &#8211; Contact information of the artist (including: name, surname,  postal address, e-mail address, phone number).<br \/>\n  &#8211; A curriculum vitae, no longer than 1A4 page as a PDF<br \/>\n  &#8211; An artist portfolio with works no older than five years.<br \/>\n  &#8211; A project proposal (which can be a description of max. 300 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c 500 words and a visual sketch with the correct proporitons of the tarp (16 x 2.15))<br \/>\nPlease submit your complete application as 1 PDF by e-mail until 14. April 2013 to <a href=\"mailto:call@17zwei.ch\">call@17zwei.ch<\/a><br \/>\n(please note, only complete applications will be considered).<\/p>\n<p>The application process:<br \/>\nOnce the deadline has passed, a jury will select 4-6 works. The selected artists will receive an artist\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s fee of 1000 CHF. In addition to the artist\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s fee we offer to cover the travel expenses to Zurich to the opening of the artwork (there is no cash alternative for trip costs). Each piece will be displayed for minimum of 4 weeks.<br \/>\nPlease note that the artwork will be printed on a 16 x 2.15 meter truck tarp. The truck tarp print will become part of the Deutsche Bank art collection after the public displaying period.<br \/>\nIf your work gets selected you will be informed of the dates your work will be on display.
