\nEARZOOM Sonic Arts Festival 2013<\/strong>
\n12th – 15th. October 2013, Ljubljana, Slovenia <\/p>\n

CALL FOR WORKS:<\/p>\n

The 5th annual EarZoom sonic arts festival is launching a call for works for the first time!<\/p>\n

We are looking for performative pieces involving new technologies from the following fields:<\/p>\n

– electronic music hardware and software
\n– new interfaces for musical expression
\n– mobile music computing
\n– algorithmic composition
\n– live coding<\/p>\n

We will not accept acousmatic \/ tape music and installation pieces,but only live performances<\/p>\n

Accepted artist will also have the chance to present their work in form of a 15-20 minute lecture\/presentation<\/p>\n

Technical rider on our side: stereo speakers, mixing board, projector.
\nWe will not be able to provide any other equipment.<\/p>\n

Please apply only if you are able to self fund the travel to Ljubljana, Slovenia
\nWe will provide hotel accommodation for selected artists during the festival.<\/p>\n

Deadline for submissions is 15th July 2013. However, try to apply as soon as possible, since we will try to notify accepted artists as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

– 150 word bio
\n– 150 word description of the proposed work.
\n– image of the proposed work
\n– link to an online (audio or video) documentation of the work<\/p>\n

Selected authors will be notified by 30th July, latest.<\/p>\n
