Our 2014 theme is<br \/>\n\u00e2\u20ac\u02dcDreamLand\u00e2\u20ac\u2122, focussing on film explorations of the natural world<br \/>\nas a place of dreams, the dream of nature, and the natural world<br \/>\ncorrespondent with the subconscious world. Our theme also relates to<br \/>\nthe utopian dreams of homeland \u00e2\u20ac\u201c in Scotland\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Year of Homecoming,<br \/>\nand the Scottish Independence Referendum.<\/p>\n<p>We accept submissions of short films, feature films, installations and expanded cinema events (both digital and 16mm), from anywhere in the world. We usually prefer work of a more experimental nature, though narrative films that show uniqueness in form and structure, or strong relevance to our themes, are most welcome. Please bear in mind the overall festival theme which aims to explore mankind\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s relationship to the natural world. We\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re also interested in the \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcalchemy\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 of film as well.
