\nDeadline: 25 April 2014<\/strong><\/p>\n

ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival is inviting entries for its Competition to find the best poetry film. <\/p>\n

For the 7th time, the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival is inviting entries for the competition to find the best poetry films. To qualify for entry, films should be short films based on poems. The total value of the prizes in the competition is \u00e2\u201a\u00ac 13,000. From among the films submitted, a Programme Committee will nominate the films to be entered for the Competition and select the films for the various sections of the festival programme. The winners will be chose by an international jury.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The prizes that will be awarded are:
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u201c ZEBRA Prize for the Best Poetry Film, donated by the Literaturwerkstatt Berlin
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u201c the Goethe Film Prize, donated by the Goethe Institut
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u201c the Ritter Sport Film Prize, donated by Alfred Ritter GmbH & Co. KG
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u201c the prize for the Best Film for Tolerance, donated by the German Foreign
\nOffice (Ausw\u00c3\u00a4rtiges Amt)
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u201c ZEBRINO \u00e2\u20ac\u201c the prize for the Best Film for Children and Young People
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u201c the Audience Prize awarded by the radioeins jury<\/p>\n

Festival poem: “Love in the Age of the EU”<\/p>\n

The Festival is also inviting entries of films based on this year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s \u00c2\u00bbFestival poem\u00c2\u00ab, \u00c2\u00bbLove in the Age of the EU\u00c2\u00ab by Bj\u00c3\u00b6rn Kuhligk. The directors of the three best films will be invited to Berlin to meet the poet and have the opportunity to present and discuss their films. You can find the poem with a sound recording and various translations here.<\/p>\n

The closing date for entries for all the Competitions is 25 April 2014.<\/p>\n

All films submitted are automatically considered for all selection processes!<\/p>\n
