Please keep in mind the following questions: which discourse or field of practice are you referring to, how do you want to realise your work, how do you want to engage with the other fellows during your stay, what do you need or expect from ZKU?)<\/p>\n<p>Please send the 4 documents compressed in one unique ZIP\/RAR file through:<br \/>\nhttps:\/\/www.wetransfer.com\/ to <a href=\"mailto:apply@zku-berlin.org\">apply@zku-berlin.org<\/a><\/p>\n<p>additional material can be sent by post to:<br \/>\n<strong>Zentrum f\u00c3\u00bcr Kunst und Urbanistik &#8211; Residency<br \/>\nSiemensstrasse 27<br \/>\n10551 Berlin<br \/>\nGermany<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>About ZK\/U Founding concept: http:\/\/www.zku-berlin.org\/concept\/<br \/>\nAbout ZK\/U Residency: http:\/\/www.zku-berlin.org\/residency\/<\/p>\n<p>In the context of its research and residency program, ZK\/U offers a \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcliving &#038; work space\u00e2\u20ac\u2122: furnished studio-apartments (half of which have private bathrooms), communal facilities, a platform open for public events, lectures, discussions, screenings, performances and presentations.<br \/>\nApplicant Requirements<br \/>\nZK\/U welcomes artists, scholars, and practitioners (curators, activists, autodidacts, etc.) interested in cross-disciplinary theory and practice dealing with \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcthe city\u00e2\u20ac\u2122.<br \/>\nArtists should be working professionally in their fields and have a broad range of projects and exhibition experience. Scholars and practitioners should have some years of professional experience.<br \/>\nArtists, scholars, and practitioners can apply individually or as a group. We especially encourage group applications consisting of artists working with scholars or practitioners from other disciplines.<br \/>\nFurthermore, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zku-berlin.org\/residency\/\">residents <\/a>are invited to use ZK\/U as a platform, and propose their own formats or long-term satellite projects.<br \/>\nSelection Criteria<br \/>\nThe selection criteria will be based upon the founding concept of ZK\/U. There are no limitations concerning age or region of provenance of the applicant.<br \/>\nThe application proposal should be coherent with the Open Call conceptual frame<br \/>\nhttp:\/\/www.zku-berlin.org\/residency\/<\/p>\n<p>Costs<br \/>\nFor individual fellows, depending on the studio-apartment and length of stay, the resident\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s costs are between 500 and 800 euro a month.<br \/>\nAfter being selected, ZK\/U will support the invited residential fellow in their efforts to secure funding through external grants by providing the fellow with an official invitation and identifying relevant funding networks and grants.<br \/>\n(Please note, that we can not send back application material.
