\nPARTICIPATE IN THE EMAF BY 05 DECEMBER 2014 !<\/p>\n

\/\/ INFOS AND APPLICATION DOCUMENTS ARE AVAILABLE AT WWW.EMAF.DE<\/p>\n

\/\/ We look forward to receiving your entries to the European Media
\nArt Festival competition, with new works. You\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re invited to send us
\nfilms, videos, installation- and performance projects or expanded
\nmedia works. Please use the online forms for all submissions.<\/p>\n

\/\/ EMAF is one of the most influential forums of international Media
\nArt. As a meeting point for artists, curators, distributors, galleries
\nand an audience of experts the festival has a great impact on the
\ntopics and aesthetics of Media Arts.<\/p>\n

Each year the festival offers its visitors a current overview of
\nexperimental films, installations, performances and new digital
\nformats, ranging from personal and political subjects or formal
\nexperiments to provocative statements from the pulsating area of
\n“Media Art – Society”. The Festival sees itself as a place of
\nexperimentation and a laboratory where extraordinary works,
\nexperiments and ventures are created and presented.<\/p>\n

\/\/ AWARDS
\nAt the festival an international jury will select the “EMAF
\nAward” for a trend-setting work in Media Art, the “arte creative
\nNewcomer Award”,
\nthe “EMAF Media Art Award of the Deutsche Filmkritik”
\nand the “Dialog Award” of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs
\nfor the promotion of intercultural exchange.<\/p>\n

\/\/ CINEMA
\nExperimental shorts and feature films, music videos, new
\nforms of narration and documentation as well as specials and
\nretrospectives.<\/p>\n

\/\/ EXHIBITION
\nFrom 22 April to 25 May 2015 the festival will present
\ncurrent media installations in the Kunsthalle Dominikanerkirche and
\nother locations in Osnabrueck.<\/p>\n

\/\/ EXPANDED MEDIA
\nArtistic projects in media-arts, performances, digital music and
\nsound projects, as well as the latest concepts of expanded cinema.<\/p>\n

\/\/ MEDIA CAMPUS
\nThe contact and project exchange forum for new projects,tendencies
\nand concepts from the media universities, academies of art and
\ndesign colleges of Europe.<\/p>\n

\/\/ CONGRESS
\nTheoretical debates covering the various issues of the festival
\nin talks, workshops, artist presentations and panel discussions.<\/p>\n

\nmedia-arts in Osnabrueck in April 2015.<\/p>\n
