{"id":6167,"date":"2014-12-01T21:26:54","date_gmt":"2014-12-01T20:26:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nmartproject.net\/netex\/?p=6167"},"modified":"2015-01-06T11:02:10","modified_gmt":"2015-01-06T10:02:10","slug":"call-share-prize-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/netex.nmartproject.net\/?p=6167","title":{"rendered":"call:  Share Prize 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Call for entries<br \/>\n<strong>Deadline: 4 January 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Share Prize 2015<\/strong><br \/>\nNow in its tenth year, Piemonte Share is proud to announce a new season<br \/>\nof the Share Prize, the international competition designed to discover,<br \/>\npromote and support art in the digital age.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>    From 8th November, 2014 until 4th January, 2015 entries can be submitted<\/p>\n<p>for the prize using the online registration form at the bottom.<br \/>\nThis year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s theme for the prize sums up ten years of hard work and our<br \/>\nhope for the future in one word: Autonomous.<\/p>\n<p>Humans are surrounded by a distributed intelligence that tracks,<br \/>\nprofiles and assists us, seeking to pre-empt, analyze and bring about<br \/>\nour dreams and desires and forming a complex, autonomous system.<br \/>\nSoftware assistants, drones, cars that drive themselves and bots for<br \/>\nhigh-frequency trading. As computing becomes more and more distributed,<br \/>\nhumans are no longer the only agents of analysis and action.<br \/>\nSubjects become profiles, filed and categorised in a vast system<br \/>\ndesigned to extrapolate our actions and convert them into profit variables.<br \/>\nWhere does the growth in potential stop and a technological circuit<br \/>\nbegin, in which our choices are increasingly driven by \u00e2\u20ac\u0153emergent\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<br \/>\nconsiderations that act autonomously?<br \/>\nHow are artists responding to a reality created by humans but only<br \/>\npartially controlled by us? What principles lead people to rely on such<br \/>\nsystems?
