It is a space and time capsule that connects cultural pluralism from Athens, Greece to Athens, Georgia. Two SLINGSHOT Festivals will take over Athens-Georgia and Athens-Greece between March 26th to 28th, 2015, with events streamed and projected from one city to the other, in counterpart venues.
SLINGSHOT is a hybrid festival that allows a diverse audience to engage with music, art and tech as a continuum across pop, alternative and experimental genres. Art pervades the urban environment, indoors and out, knitting the festival area together and encouraging discovery, crossing over, and active engagement.
SLINGSHOT highlights interactivity, sound, video and audiovisual works, mobile and locative media, innovative performance, and art integrated with the urban environment.

Entry form, conditions, details: www.slingshotathens.gr

SLINGSHOT ATHENS to ATHENS Festival invites all artists to participate in the Festival, hosted in Athens, Greece.
The Festival call is open to every creator (individuals, groups or organizations of any nationality) using New Media and Electronic Arts.
There is no entry fee.
Entry forms can be submitted electronically until: January 15, 2015.

PROPOSALS ARE INVITED FOR NEW OR RECENT WORKS IN THESE CATEGORIES:
Installation:
Installations involving any media.
Performance:
All types of performance and performance art involving technology.
Mobile Media:
Work involving mobile devices, including locative media.
Sound/Video:
Sound works (Works with visual, site specific or other elements should be submitted under other categories)
Video works
(Works for multiple screens, site specific works, etc. should be submitted in other categories)
Other:
Anything else.
