These programs are available to artists working in Canada and abroad. The selected projects will be included in La Bande Vid\u00c3\u00a9o\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s 2015-2016 programming.<br \/>\nLocated in coop\u00c3\u00a9rative M\u00c3\u00a9duse, La Bande Vid\u00c3\u00a9o is a media arts center devoted to creation and research. It takes part in the development of a contemporary video culture, offers artists production and dissemination tools, and encourages them to build a reflection on their work. The center produces and exhibits mostly experimental single-channel, installations, and animated videos.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Exhibition<\/p>\n<p>Priority is given to video installation projects. La Bande Vid\u00c3\u00a9o offers exhibition fees in accordance to the CARFAC recommendations. Also, La Bande Vid\u00c3\u00a9o provides lodging to artists during the set-up of the exhibition. <\/p>\n<p>Production Residency and Exhibition Residency<\/p>\n<p>Artists chosen for production residencies or exhibition residencies have free access to the center&#8217;s production studios and equipment for a two-week to one-month period. La Bande Vid\u00c3\u00a9o provides technical support.<br \/>\nFree lodging and a transportation allocation are provided to artists living outside of our area.
