{"id":6413,"date":"2015-04-02T08:57:24","date_gmt":"2015-04-02T07:57:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nmartproject.net\/netex\/?p=6413"},"modified":"2015-04-02T09:02:30","modified_gmt":"2015-04-02T08:02:30","slug":"call-without-words-film-festival-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/netex.nmartproject.net\/?p=6413","title":{"rendered":"call: Without Words Film Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Call for entries<br \/>\n<strong>Deadline: 15 September 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Without Words Film Festival 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Words are everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>In each sphere of society, they reflect our thoughts, reflexions and ideas.<br \/>\nSpoken or written, they convey stories, information and messages.<br \/>\nThe only exception to this hegemony of words is arts.<br \/>\nPainting, sculpture, music, photography, installation and video art are the only mediums that are able to convey a message without the use of words.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Without Words Film Festival&#8221; celebrates once a year since 2014, video art that uses words only to announce its title and author.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Without Words Film Festival&#8221; takes place at the end of November at University of Lorraine, Ile du Saulcy in Metz (France).<br \/>\nIt begins with a special contest open to Lorraine University students.<\/p>\n<p>Each year, the members of the jury of &#8220;Without Words Film Festival&#8221; reward the three videos they prefer.<\/p>\n<p>The theme of &#8220;Without Words Film Festival&#8221; 2015 is: &#8220;Time distorsions&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Regulations :<br \/>\n1) Deadline to send your videos : September 15, 2015, exclusively by review link (vimeo, youtube, etc.)<br \/>\n2) There is no entry fee<br \/>\n3) Each author can send a maximum of 2 videos<br \/>\n4) The videos sent must be related to the theme &#8220;Time distorsions&#8221; and must not have been produced before 2013<br \/>\n5) The submitted videos have to last between one and ten minutes<br \/>\n6) If selected, the author will be asked to send a HD quicktime file by wetransfer<br \/>\n7) The result of selections will be communicated to the artists in November 2015<br \/>\n8) Required information to be sent to <a href=\"mailto:withoutwords@free.fr\">withoutwords@free.fr<\/a> :<br \/>\n&#8211; Title<br \/>\n&#8211; Author<br \/>\n&#8211; Length<br \/>\n&#8211; Year of production<br \/>\n&#8211; Synopsis<br \/>\n&#8211; Review link<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Call for entries Deadline: 15 September 2015 Without Words Film Festival 2015 Words are everywhere.
