For this call, we are looking for video\/animation\/film work under 2 minutes in length, with 30 seconds to 1 minute being idea, that is about butterflies AND\/\/OR time, especially the passage of long periods of time. (We mostly expect entries that deal with time, but only time will tell what entries we will get.)<\/p>\n<p>jumping off points to consider:<br \/>\nmelting clocks<br \/>\nWaiting for Godot<br \/>\nAs Time Goes By<br \/>\nMariah Carey\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s album Butterfly<br \/>\nThe Time Machine by H. G. Wells<br \/>\nDamien Hirst\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Kaleidoscope paintings*<br \/>\nChristian Marclay\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s The Clock<\/p>\n<p>Coloring Coorain is interested in highlighting artists from minority groups, particularly queer, femme-identified, and POC artists. That said, we are also interested in high quality work from artists of all backgrounds.<\/p>\n<p>Coloring Coorain is an artists\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 television show, screened on several Community Television networks and on vimeo\/youtube and occasional gallery shows and festivals. In submitting, you agree to have your work included in these screenings. Your work will be credited (obviously) and, when possible, a link included.
