6th Oodaaq Festival<\/p>\n

Terms and Conditions :
\nL’OEil d’Oodaaq is a french non-proft organization that aims to refect on video art and other
\nforms of images in contemporary art : photography, installation, performance, drawing, painting, new media…<\/p>\n

L’OEil d’Oodaaq will be organizing its sixth Oodaaq Festival in 2016.
\nIt will be held from 18 to 22 May in Rennes, from 27 to 29 May in Nantes, and from 3 to 5 June in Saint-Malo.
\nIt will be composed of : exhibitions, screenings, performances, lectures, installations in public space.<\/p>\n

The festival mainly aims to present contemporary video works, but is open to every other medium (photography, installation, performance, drawings, painting \u00e2\u20ac\u00a6) . It intends to carry out
\na refexion on the notion of poetic and nomadic images.<\/p>\n

Applicants can propose up to three artworks.<\/p>\n

The open call is divided in 2 categories :
\n\u00e2\u2013\u00a1 VIDEO
\nVideos presented in a curated programme along with other videos
\n\u00e2\u2013\u00a1 EXHIBITION
\nPhotography, painting, drawing, installation, video installation, new media, performances<\/p>\n

Selection :
\nApplications are to be sent before 15 October 2015 at midnight, exclusively via e-mail , to :
\nprojet.oodaaq@gmail.com<\/a><\/p>\n

Every application has to be sent as a zip fle (named \u00c2\u00ab surname-frst name \u00c2\u00bb) not exceeding 10MB
\nand containing :<\/p>\n

\u00ef\u0192\u00b1flled out application form (to be downloaded on the website www.loeildoodaaq.fr )
\n\u00ef\u0192\u00b1portfolio
\n\u00ef\u0192\u00b1bio
\n\u00ef\u0192\u00b1text about the proposed artwork(s)
\n\u00ef\u0192\u00b1for exhibitions : a high-resolution image (300 dpi, named \u00c2\u00ab surname-frst name-title.jpg) +
\nspecifcation sheet if necessary
\n\u00ef\u0192\u00b1for videos : a high-resolution image extracted from the video (300 dpi, named \u00c2\u00ab surname-frst
\nname-title.jpg) + link to YouTube or vimeo fle. High quality video fles are requested in case of
\nselection.<\/p>\n

Concerning the exhibitions : depending on the projects, the artist can be invited for a short
\nperiod of residency in order to develop the fnal spatialization of his\/her work.
\nThe projects will be selected on their artistic quality by the Oodaaq Festival team during autumn
\n2015. The applicants will be notifed of the jury’s decision in February 2016.<\/p>\n

Reward :
\nL’OEil d’Oodaaq is paying author’s rights or exhibition fees to the selected artists. The exact
\namount will be fxed regarding the terms of presentation of the works and with consultation of
\nthe artists.
\nIn order to encourage encounters between artists and public, L’OEil d’Oodaaq is participating in
\nthe travel costs of the artists who come to the festival and is organizing accommodation.<\/p>\n
