2nd V\u00c3\u201cRTICE: Experimental Video Residency opens his application call 2016<\/p>\n

During 10 days in Valpara\u00c3\u00adso, 16 audiovisual artists will have the opportunity to meet in order to share experiences, assist to specialization labs and be mentored by national and international consecrated professionals of experimental video.<\/p>\n

By second consecutive year, INVE Experimental Platform of Arts opens its application call for \u00e2\u20ac\u0153V\u00c3\u201cRTICE\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Experimental Video Residency, a space of theoretical-practical character that aims at research, education and experimental video creation in Chile.<\/p>\n

The residency will take place in Valpara\u00c3\u00adso city from April 1st to 11th, 2016 and includes labs and mentored works given by national and international consecrated professionals. Through the relationship with colleagues and mentors, the residency points out new speeches search, developing works from politics and dynamics that considers others ways of looking, materials and technologies.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Calling them is a way of appeal to the passion for hybrid border line videos and valiancy in recognize that this unstable ground is the one that motivate us. Our premise is to motivate a creative, honest, serious and organic distance, taking the education that comes from the performance and giving “emphasis to the process\u00e2\u20ac\u009d of our work, giving content to believe in “not mistake” says Daniela Lillo, INVE Director. <\/p>\n

The residency includes 5 labs and 3 mentoring days in charge of Nestor Olhagaray (Chile), Baltazar Tokman (Argentina), Vest&Page (Germany-Italy), Claudia S\u00c3\u00a1nchez (Argentina), Pitu.the.Kid (Chile) and Udo Jacobsen (Chile).<\/p>\n

Artists form Chile and abroad with audiovisual experience without limits of age can postulate until march 1st, 2016. It is important to emphasize that within the 16 selected artists, the organization will grant 12 Chilean people with lodging for 11 nights in Valpara\u00c3\u00adso, food and participation in all activities.<\/p>\n
