The internet Yami-Ichi @ TATE MODERN<\/strong><\/p>\n 20 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c 22 May 2016*, arebyte Gallery will join Offprint London 2016 to host London\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s first ever Internet Yami-Ichi (Black Market) event at Tate Modern as part of Offprint London 2016. The fair will showcase up to 20 local and international artists working mainly in digital and net-based practices exploring the potential of online art IRL (In Real Life).<\/p>\n The Internet Yami-Ichi (Black Market**) is a weekend flea market which deals with \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Internet-ish\u00e2\u20ac\u009d things, face-to-face, in actual space. Both flea markets and the Internet are fantastical and chaotic mixes of the amazing and the useless. Past vendor wares include rejected iOS apps, glitch, digital publishing, embroidered clothing, and the right to be hugged by an Internet idol. It is up to you how to interpret \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Internet-ish\u00e2\u20ac\u009d things. Unavoidably there is a small participation fee of \u00c2\u00a3200 (+VAT) per table. This can be shared with up to 3 artists (per table).<\/p>\n The Internet Yami-Ichi is a celebration, where together we experience the afterglow offline, as the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153buzz\u00e2\u20ac\u009d of the Internet wears off. \nThe event will be held at Tate Modern, vendors are ofcourse not allowed vandalize, harm or mark the space \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcFor the sake of Art\u00e2\u20ac\u2122. Avoid things that may harm or offend others, such as a strong smell or works with a racist nature.
