Applications can be submitted 30 May \u00e2\u20ac\u201c 2 Aug 2016. OpenART is Scandinavia\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s biggest public art biennial and takes place in \u00c3\u2013rebro, Sweden. The city centre is filled with unexpected art that makes people feel happy, disturbed and provoked. Contemporary art from all over the world is showcased for almost three months in the city and offers unexpected encounters.<\/p>\n OpenART is a unique event that turns the city upside down with unconventional art, celebrating bold ideas and promoting unusual expressions. This CALL is open to both individuals and groups in various disciplines. We welcome projects \u00e2\u20ac\u0153in situ\u00e2\u20ac\u009d that respond to our city. New ideas or fully developed artworks and installations can be submitted.<\/p>\n
\nOpenART welcomes professional artists worldwide to apply to its 6th edition taking place the summer of 2017.
\nA jury of OpenART experts will select a number of artists. Invited artists will receive an artist fee of 1,000 EUR, as well as transport, travel and accommodation support.
