The way we live our life is creating a new age, the so called
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Anthropocene\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. Modern man is present from the deep sea to the edge of
\nthe atmosphere and affects the course of evolution. His action will be
\nvisible in the distant future. Human activity has a completely new
\nquality since the end of World War II. Thanks to the rapid growth of
\nhumanity, mankind has a geological imprint globaly, rather than just
\nbeing one factor among many.<\/p>\n
New worldwide geological structures are our cities made of glass and
\nconcrete. To the climate change contribute road trips, flights, freight
\ntransport. Plastic, other synthetic materials to radiating elements are
\nubiquitous in the biosphere and many of them durable over long
\ngeological periods. Dams that retain sediments in the upper reaches of
\nrivers have long-term consequences. Ships and planes carry thousands of
\nalien species from one continent to another.<\/p>\n
What does the artist say? We invite interested artists to apply for
\nparticipation in the exhibition<\/p>\n
