International Video Festival DIGITALBIGSCREEN 2016

The digitalization in cinematography is finally finished in Slovenia. It enables presentation of new contents in a cinema theatre; amongst them also the video and all its derivatives\/variations like video document or video performance. Until now video artists have been tied to TV or LCD screens, or screenings on smaller formats. Technical possibilities have therefore been a limiting factor. The international video festival Digitalbigscreen offers the visual artists engaged in video production the possibility to have their works shown on a big cinema screen.<\/p>\n
Compilation of selected videos will be also offered to Art Cinema Network of Slovenia (AKMS) to present as a part of their art cinema program.<\/p>\n
Herewith we address the interested video artists to submit their works to our open call DIGITALBIGSCREEN 2016
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tof the following general conditions:
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tno limitation of topic
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tmaximum length 10 mins
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\thorizontal format (16:9)
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\t720p \/ HD (preferred) resolution
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tyear of production: 2014, 2015, 2016
\n\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2\tmaximum three works per author <\/p>\n
