We showcase a variety of art that pushes the boundaries of art and technology, experimental films, installation, and performance. This is a call for our 2017 show June 9th-25th 2017 in Santa fe, New Mexico. Last year we counted over 7,000 visitors at our festival events.<\/p>\n<p>Some artists who are accepted into the festival are eligible for full coverage of lodging, travel, and shipping. <\/p>\n<p>We are accepting submissions in the following categories:<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 New Media Installations, <\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Outdoor Video and New Media Installations, <\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Single Channel Video and Animation, <\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Multimedia Performance, <\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Fulldome, <\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Experimental or Interactive Documentary, <\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Web-Art \/ Art-Gaming \/ Mobile Device Apps, <\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Virtual Reality Environments, <\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Robotics, <\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Digitally Generated Objects (ie. 3D Printing)<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Interactive Installations for Children<\/p>\n<p>For more information about our festival and our submission guidelines:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/currentsnewmedia.org\/festivals\/currents-new-media-2017\/\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/currentsnewmedia.org\/festivals\/currents-new-media-2017\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>CURRENTS serves as a platform for artistic experimentation and generates exploration into all forms of new media art, while providing the public with an opportunity to experience an outstanding selection of innovative work.
