ZSOLNAY LIGHT ART MAPPING COMPETITION 2017<\/p>\n
After last year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s successful event, Zsolnay Festival of Light and Zsolnay Heritage Management Nonprofit Ltd. announced the second annual international Zsolnay Light Art Mapping Competition composed on P\u00c3\u00a9cs Cathedral, with a total prize money of \u00e2\u201a\u00ac10.000.<\/p>\n
Mappings will be displayed for two nights on June 30 and July 1 on the fa\u00c3\u00a7ade of P\u00c3\u00a9cs Cathedral as the main attraction of Zsolnay Festival of Light. Organizing partner and official host of the 2017 competition, internationally renowned Hungarian visual arts studio, Glowing Bulbs will also be presenting yet another opus at this year\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s festival, and a selection of out-of-competition works will be showcased on the night of June 30, including Glowing Bulbs\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 epic work, \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcThe Book of Jonah\u00e2\u20ac\u2122.<\/p>\n
Besides the Southern fa\u00c3\u00a7ade and the two towers, the Cathedral\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s roof will also be added this year to the mapping site to enhance the overall visual experience. \nWinner of the three Jury Prizes will be selected by an international Jury Panel, and shortlisted works will also be open for a public vote for the Audience Prize, granted by http:\/\/festivalunlimited.com<\/a>.

\nTheme: Attracted to Light Site: Southern facade including the two towers and roof of P\u00c3\u00a9cs Cathedral (see template) Date of competition: June 30 and July 1, 2017 We are expecting audio-visual mappings reflecting on the subject, \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcAttracted to Light\u00e2\u20ac\u2122, engaging with the architecture, spirit and traditions of P\u00c3\u00a9cs Cathedral.
\nDuring selection process the Jury will select a maximum of 10 pieces to be presented live.<\/p>\n
\nIndividuals under the age of 18 may only apply with written parental consent. By registering, applicants automatically accept competition rules.<\/p>\n
