{"id":8133,"date":"2017-06-12T13:53:03","date_gmt":"2017-06-12T11:53:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/netex.nmartproject.net\/?p=8133"},"modified":"2017-06-12T16:57:52","modified_gmt":"2017-06-12T14:57:52","slug":"call-residencies-for-media-artists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/netex.nmartproject.net\/?p=8133","title":{"rendered":"call: Residencies for Media Artists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Deadline: 28 July 2017<br \/>\nCall for entries<\/p>\n<p>The European Media Art Network offers residencies for Media Artists<br \/>\nin the fields of digital media, including Internet and computer-based artists,<br \/>\n filmmakers, and those working in media based performance, sound, or video.<\/p>\n<p>Artists with European residence, or a European passport, can apply for a two-months<br \/>\n long residency at one of the following institutions:<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 IMPAKT, Utrecht, Netherlands <a href=\"http:\/\/www.impakt.nl\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.impakt.nl<\/a><\/p>\n<p>For a residency at Impakt in Utrecht applicants have two options:<br \/>\na) a residency project that connects to the theme of the Impakt Festival 2017:<br \/>\nHaunted Machines and Wicked Problems. In this case the residency will be 2 months within the period August, September and October 2017.<br \/>\nb) a residency that fits with the general focus of Impakt: a critical view on the role of media and technology in our society.<br \/>\nIn this case the residency will be 2 months within the period November 2017- June 2018.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Bandits Mages, Bourges, France <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bandits-mages.com\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.bandits-mages.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>2 months within January and April 2018. Theme is queer, race, post-colonialism.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 FACT, Liverpool, United Kingdom <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fact.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.fact.co.uk<\/a><\/p>\n<p>2 months within autumn 2017 or spring 2018. Theme is Play.<br \/>\nParticularly exploring video games and artists as games-maker, or Young People and Learning projects.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u00a2 Werkleitz Centre for Media Arts, Halle, Germany <a href=\"http:\/\/werkleitz.de\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/werkleitz.de<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mid- October to Mid December, no theme<\/p>\n<p>Students are not permitted, but young artists are encouraged to apply.
