\nMilan \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Italy (23rd-31st March 2019)<\/p>\n
Submissions for the 29th African, Asian and Latin American Film Festival are now open!<\/p>\n
It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s now possible to submit films to take part in the next edition of African, Asian and Latin American Film Festival, which will take place in Milan (Italy) from 23rd to 31st March 2019.<\/p>\n
Applying is simple, it only takes two steps:<\/p>\n
– fill in the entry form, after reading the rules<\/p>\n
– send us a screener for the selection (subtitled in English or French), preferably by link or on DVD, to the Festival Office.<\/p>\n
THE FESTIVAL\u00e2\u20ac\u2122S SECTIONS:<\/p>\n
There are three competitive sections at Milan\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s African, Asian and Latin American Film Festival:<\/p>\n
\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Windows on the World\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Feature Films Competition
\nPrize euro 8,000*
\nFiction and documentary films made by directors from Africa, Asia and Latin America (minimum running time 60 min.)<\/p>\n
African Short Films Competition
\nPrize euro 2,000*
\nFiction and documentary short films made by African directors (maximum running time 59 min.)<\/p>\n
Extr\u00e2\u20ac\u2122A Competition
\nPrize euro 1,000*
\nFiction and documentary films made by Italian or Italian-based directors in the three continents (Africa, Asia and Latin America) or related to immigration, integration and interculture in Italy.<\/p>\n
*the prizes may vary<\/p>\n
Only films and videos made in 2018 and 2019 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c that preferably have not been previously screened in Italy \u00e2\u20ac\u201c can take part in the competitive sections.<\/p>\n
Film submissions are free of charge.
\nThe deadline is on 21st of December 2018.<\/p>\n
