There are currently more than 60 millions of refugees on the globe, people who left their home country in order to escape war, persecution and murder, but also the effects of the climate change, poverty and the lack of any perspectives.<\/p>\n

The open call would like to get down to the human dimensions, since the refugees are human individuals who are forced to leave their home countries in order to get shelter, protection and perspectives for survival elsewhere. Do or did they find the “promissed land” – temporarily or for sure?<\/p>\n

Currently, The Refugee Film Collection includes videos of about 70 artists, but would like to complete the number of 100 participants. It is, therefore, looking now for new artists & artvideos dealing with the topic of \u00e2\u20ac\u0153refugees\u00e2\u20ac\u009d to become part of \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Refugee\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Film Collection 4.0 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c http:\/\/refugee.engad.org<\/a> and its screenings in the framework of “The W:OW Project – We Are One World – http:\/\/wow.engad.org<\/a><\/p>\n

Artists and video makers are invited to submit and spotlight this human dimension and the diversity of reasons and motivations to become a refugee.<\/p>\n

\n– The full-length films\/videos may originate from the years 2006-2019 – excerpts of videos or films are not accepted!!

\n– Productions using language and\/or text other than English need English subtitles.
\n– The preview copy has to be uploaded online via WETRANSFER http:\/\/www.wetransfer.com<\/a> or VIMEO – http:\/\/www.vimeo.com<\/a>, the link for the downlad has to be submitted
\n– For preview eligible: only mp4 HD (1920×1080) or SD (PAL 720×560 \/ NTSC 720×480)
