\nCALL FOR ARTISTS<\/p>\n
Asolo Art Film Festival, created in 1973 as a detachment of the Venice Biennale on the impulse of critics and essayist Flavia Paulon and sponsored at the time by UNESCO as an international model of correlation between cinema and visual arts, is pleased to present its 37th edition under the prestigious artistic direction of Cosimo Terlizzi, appreciated and eclectic poet of visual languages.<\/p>\n
The festival has become the crossroads of leading figures (Alain Resnais, Jean Rouch, Luciano Emmer, Ingrid Bergman, Yoko Ono\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6) and includes the sections \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Films on Art\u00e2\u20ac\u009d (films dedicated to Art in any form – visual art, architecture, dance, music\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6 – biographies, historical reconstruction work, critical interpretation on the protagonists of Art) and \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Art films\u00e2\u20ac\u009d (audiovisual works created with any technology used as an instrument of artistic
\nexpression). The Festival is now enriched by the \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Internet art\u00e2\u20ac\u009d category dedicated to works created and distributed for the Internet network, without limit of duration.<\/p>\n
Only works produced after the 1st of January 2017 are eligible for the competition. If the film is not in Italian or in English it must have Italian or English subtitles. Should subtitles be missing when required, the film will automatically be excluded from the competition.<\/p>\n
