The Capital City Film Festival\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s House of More seeks emerging experimental video artists to submit for its inaugural digital exhibition.<\/p>\n
Nearly 20 years after the VNS MATRIX came on the scene \u00e2\u20ac\u0153 TO HIJACK THE TOYS FROM TECHNOCOWBOYS AND REMAP CYBERCULTURE WITH A FEMINIST BENT\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, Laboria Cuboniks, a 6 person xenofeminist collective, released the Xenofeminist Manifesto: A Politics for Alienation. <\/p>\n
This manifesto displayed the cyberfeminist of tomorrow. One who is a techno materialist, an anti-naturalist, and a gender abolitionist. One who \u00e2\u20ac\u0153re-engineers\u00e2\u20ac\u009d to gain the future. <\/p>\n
By asking for work exploring\/repurposing technology, race, sex, and gender, the House of More this year will examine our current reality and gesture to the one we engineer. <\/p>\n
While all submissions are welcomed, we actively seek work from women, gender non-conforming people, and artist from LGBTQ communities.<\/p>\n
