\nThe Lumen Prize for Art and Technology celebrates and promotes artists working with
\ntechnology globally through its annual juried competition and exhibitions.
\nNow in its 8th year, The Lumen Prize has already awarded over $70,000 in prize money.
\nThrough our parent, Lumen Art Projects, we have staged over 45 exhibitions in 15 cities
\nworldwide, including London, New York, Shanghai, St Petersburg, Beijing, Cardiff and Athens.
\nOur Prize Fund in 2019 is $11,000. The 2019 Prizes are:
\n\u00e2\u2014\u008f Gold Award ($4000)
\n\u00e2\u2014\u008f Moving Image ($1000)
\n\u00e2\u2014\u008f Still Image ($1000)
\n\u00e2\u2014\u008f XR ($1000)
\n\u00e2\u2014\u008f 3D\/Interactive Award ($1000)
\n\u00e2\u2014\u008f The BCS Artificial Intelligence Award ($1000)
\n\u00e2\u2014\u008f The Rapoport Award for Women in Art and Technology ($1000)
\n\u00e2\u2014\u008f Photomonitor Student Prize ($500)
\n\u00e2\u2014\u008f People\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Choice Award ($500)
\nThere is an administration fee of US$48 to enter which covers two entries. Any additional
\nartwork is US$24. As a not-for-profit based in the UK, all entry fees go directly towards the
\nprizes and events programme.
\nAll longlisted artists, finalists and award winners are eligible for Lumen exhibitions,
\ncommissions and events.
