VIDEONALE.18 – Festival for Video and Time-Based Media Arts

The Call for Entries for the 18th edition of the Videonale has begun and we cordially invite all artists and filmmakers to submit their works for the competition

The VIDEONALE.18 is open for experimental works from the fields of single- and multi-channel video, video installation, performance, sound art, and virtual reality.
The works selected by an international jury are presented in an exhibition at the Kunstmuseum Bonn and an accompanying exhibition catalogue. All selected artists receive an exhibition fee and accommodation during the opening days and are given the opportunity to participate in the festival and networking events.

RULES
Artists of all nationalities and ages can submit up to three works each. There are no limitations on the duration and genre, but the submitted works may not be older than two years (produced after January 1, 2018).

ADMINISTRATION FEE
An administration fee will be charged for each submission:
until June 14, 2020: 15 euros
after June 15, 2020: 25 euros

PRIZE
The Videonale award of the FLUENTUM COLLECTION endowed with 5,000 euros will be awarded among all selected works by an independent jury at the opening of the VIDEONALE.18.
