Sculpture Walk Springfield

In April 2017, Sculpture Walk Springfield will reveal to the public its 2nd annual exhibit. We hope to install 20 new sculptures, an increase from our current collection of 13. Each year, as our program grows, we hope to add more sculptures. Sculpture Walk Springfield is a citizen driven initiative in orchestration with the city of Springfield with the mission of creating a museum without walls with access to all in the heart of Springfield, Missouri.

Sculptures chosen for Sculpture Walk Springfield 2017-2018 will be on loan to the program for one year and displayed to the public for ten months. They will remain in the ownership of the artist throughout the program. Artists of selected sculptures will receive a $1,000 stipend. Insurance coverage will be provided through an arrangement with the Springfield Art Museum and the city of Springfield. All sculptures will be available for purchase to the public. Shipping will be provided on a case-by-case basis.

To submit a sculpture for the 2017-2018 exhibit please email your application to submissions@sculpturewalkspringfield.org.
