World’s first NFT projection mapping
27.08-29.08 2021 Intervals Festival in Nizhny Novgorod

Pitch announces an international open call for the creation of a projection show, which will be shown as a part of the Intervals festival and the program for celebrating the 800h anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod.

Intervals is an international festival of media art. In 2021 it takes place from 27th to 29th of August and includes a record number of the city venues. One of the festival’s main locations is Mayak, an old garment factory on the Volga river bank, built by the famous Russian architect F. Schechtel in 1914. During the festival, the building in neo-gothic style will turn into the canvas for a unique NFT video mapping installation, produced by Pitch with the technical assistance of the festival’s organizers, dreamlaser company.

We invite artists and creative groups who work in various styles to participate in the project with Pitch being responsible for curation, selection of works, art direction, and creation of the final audio-visual composition. It will be projected on Mayuk every evening during the festival and seen by tens of thousands of people. The result of the work will be minted as NFT token, copies of which will be distributed between all the participating artists, one copy of the same item (token ID) each.

This project aims to present crypto art in its absolute abstract form — as a collaborative, anonymous and free creative process.
