Calling the GIFted!
Darklight REBOOTS this year and is looking for GIFs that keep on giving. We are inviting creators to submit their own original animated GIF artworks for consideration for screening during Darklight Festival’s 2014 edition. A shortlist of selected original works will be showcased at a special screening, and the winner will be announced at the Darklight Party, Saturday 26 April 2014.
To submit your original animated GIF for consideration in this competition, please send the file as an attachment to gifted.reboot@gmail.com with the subject line ‘GIFted’. Please include your name, short biography and country of residence with this submission. If your GIF is too large to send via email, please send via wetransfer.com or yousendit.com. The submitted GIF must be your own creation.
The deadline for submissions is Wednesday 12 March, 6pm.
Shortlisted GIFs will be screened at Darklight – Festival of Independent Creativity, 24 – 27 April 2014.
