EYES ON EUROPE
“Matters of territory/iesâ€
In 2016, The Eyes launches EYES ON EUROPE, a call for proposals aimed at photographers, videographers, other visual artists, publishers.
Once a year, the EYES ON EUROPE project – which aims at revealing what we might call Europeanity – proposes to take a fresh outlook on Europe.
EYES ON EUROPE is inviting you to become the witnesses and actors of a moving, lively and manifold, curious and unprejudiced Europe.
Every year, the Spring/Summer issue of the magazine The Eyes (theeyes.eu), published during the “Rencontres d’Arles†photography festival, will be dedicated to the chosen portfolios.
The first issue of EYE ON EUROPE will showcase twelve selected portfolios. In order to match the desired aesthetic and visual identity of The Eyes, the subjects will have to follow the theme:
“Matters of territory/iesâ€
