In the framework of the Tenth Edition of the International Festival MIVA 2016 call for the following types opens.

to. CREATIVE PROCESS LABORATORIES CALL BASES MIVA 2016
Call open to individual artists, groups, national and international stage and audiovisual groups to develop an inter- or multidisciplinary approach during the time of experimentation (2-day workshop and three days of experimental work with another artist or group to develop during the month of July ) in co-production with MIVA team, whose resulting work will be exhibited or presented in September.

PARTICIPANTS
They may participate filmmakers, photographers, designers, writers, musicians and local and foreign performing artists, collectives and willing to experiment and work together with other artists is of the same gender or different college students.
DOCUMENTATION TO DELIVER
– Registration Form and acceptance letter (download formats)
– Letter of intent which expose the / s Reason / s to participate in the Tenth Edition MIVA 2016. This document will have an extension of 1 page maximum and shall be written in Arial 12.

ON SELECTION
The work will be analyzed by the organizing team MIVA 2016, which will select who will participate in the 2016 MIVA PROCESS CREATIVE LABS.
NOTIFICATION
Notification of selection will be announced on Monday, May 30 this year to each of the participants, through social networks, email and phone specified in the registration form.
RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ORGANIZATION
The Organization is committed to:
– Deliver the schedule, noting the days of workshop and experimental work.
– Make available technical resources as infocus, cameras, etc. prior coordination with the participants.
– Permits on location or locations to intervene. In the case of external locations they must be pre-programmed both coordination and execution with the Festival.
– Certificate of participation in MIVA 2016
– The resulting works form part of the catalog MIVA 2016
– Economic Heading mutual agreement
PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY
– Those selected must confirm their participation until Monday June 6, otherwise the organization MIVA convene another artist or group in place.

– The participant is solely responsible for the authenticity of the data provided, the authorship of the work and / or content, thus being the only person responsible for such creations, responding to civil and criminal law for the practice of plagiarism or any other act that may damage the copyright or intellectual property of another person. It is the sole responsibility of the participant using images of third parties that may be part of the content of the works.
OF COPYRIGHT
The / filmmakers maintain the rights shared responsibility (between artists and / or collective creators) of the works presented, giving non-exclusive rights of reproduction thereof under the Tenth Edition MIVA 2016 both its National Roaming as International.
In addition the resulting works will remain as part of the historical archives of the Festival can be promoted in other purely cultural festival and related activities
FINAL PROVISIONS
– The images resulting from interviews, backstage or registration of creative processes will be disseminated to publicize the Festival, without involving an additional economic recognition to participants.

PARTICIPANTS
They may participate domestic and foreign, groups and university students filmmakers.
Each participant or group may submit up to two proposals that have occurred up in the last three years (2014, 2015, 2016)
PATTERNS OF THE CALL.
Videodance. Minimum 1 minute, maximum 20 minutes.

Each participant or group may submit two proposals by category that have occurred up in the last three years (2014, 2015, 2016)
PATTERNS OF THE CALL.
The call includes the following categories:
to. Interactive Art: As an interactive art all research and experiences in the field of art using various means and resulting from the intersection between art, science and technology, as well as possible transversalities with other disciplines are understood. They can then participate installations, performances, internet projects, virtual reality, outdoor projections, robotics.
b. Digital Art: In the digital language all research and experiences in the broad scope of the multiple disciplines that use digital media, as well as possible transversalities among them understood. They can then participate: animation (in all modes), video art, digital architecture, artificial life, photography, design, among others.
SHIPMENTS
Audiovisual works should be submitted from May 15 until July 15 this year either physically or digitally through:

In the specific case of works made for the Internet, indicate the direction of the work online.
In the case of video works they must be sent in the following formats :. WMV / WMA, ASF, MOV, MPG / MPEG, AVI or MP4, MTS.

Audiovisual products are looking to highlight a brand or collection through its own aesthetic.
PARTICIPANTS
Call designers, models both nationally and internationally. Each participant may submit up to 2 audiovisual works that have been produced in the last 3 years (2014, 2015, 2016)

Fashion films lasting minimum 1 and maximum 5 minutes.
