Digital Media Fest 2017

We are currently accepting proposals for workshops, presentations, performances, and booths related to Digital Media for the 2017 festival/workshop series. The Digital Media Festival in 2017 will be held March 30 and 31. Early submissions are preferred!

Who can submit?

Faculty, staff, and student groups of Penn State University, The Behrend College
Graduate students, academics, and professionals locally, nationally, and internationally.
Local and non-local businesses and non profits

Does it cost anything to submit?

Free to submit for Faculty, Staff, Students, and non profits
Businesses are encouraged to make a donation to the festival to encourage the festival’s growth for next year

What can I submit?

Workshop, Panel, Presentation, and Booth ideas
Must be related to Digital Media. Examples include, but are not limited to: Digital Art, Digital Music, Games, Human Factors Engineering, Code related Art/Music, Information Visualization, Marketing in Digital Media

What kind of requirements do you have?

For workshops, presentations, and panels:
45 minutes in length
Space requirements/needs: Computer Labs are in high demand. We would need to know if you need one immediately. Is a projector needed? What quality of sound do you need?
For booths:
Clear relation to Digital Media (Ie. Game Development Club, Wacom demo, Digital Media Company, etc.)
Have your table staffed for at least one full day of the festival
Provide an engaging activity

Are honorariums or stipends for travel and/or speaking costs given?
