Video Art & Short Films To Be Screened At The Mit Museum

HOT STEAM II is having an open call for video art and short films that explore the magic combination of science, art, and technology.

HOT STEAM is an annual screening that happens in Cambridge, Massachusetts during the Cambridge Science Festival. This year the MIT Museum has agreed to host the screening on April 18th, 2019.

The goal of this event is to bring scientists and artists together to exhibit and discuss science in an accessible and exciting way (meaning videos should appeal to a wide audience – children and adults alike). We are looking for films/videos that are short, interesting, strange and bizarre. Interpretation of the theme can be very loose.

Videos must be 5 minutes or less.
There is no submission fee.
Content is due by March 15th.

Send your submission to hotsteamopencall@gmail.com
