#Thisisnotamask Covid-19 Rubber Stamp Currency Intervention
Let’s mask the presidents!
”#thisisnotamask” is a crowd sourcing initiative to invite volunteers to stamp masks onto the faces of presidents featured on their cash. President Donald Trump couldn’t be bothered to wear a mask, so let’s use our cash to send a message. We are inviting anyone to join us in stamping their money with masks. Strategically stamping a mask on portraits on cash is a symbolic act take a stand for basic decency, empathy and care in light of the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic.
#thisisnotamask is a collaborative, creative response, by artist/activists Joseph DeLappe and Brent Richardson to the issues surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
