For several weeks in July, we will be given the time, space, and the luxury to engage in an open-ended exchange of ideas about structures of production. And, what nascent possibilities that might be available for consideration as replacements for some of the tired models of aesthetic production that rationalizes our present conundrum. – John Knight #johnknight
CSAV – Artists’ Research Laboratory is an experimental platform designed to provoke formal and informal discussions and exchanges among artists of different generations and nationalities. It aims to explore different forms of art-making through un-institutional teaching methods. Between fifteen and twenty young artists from all nationalities will be selected. The participants will attend daily workshops and seminars run by invited artist and guests.
The application and the laboratory are free of charge.
XXVI CSAV – Artists’ Research Laboratory is directed by Annie Ratti with Lorenzo Benedetti and Gregorio Magnani.
