EARZOOM Sonic Arts Festival 2013
12th – 15th. October 2013, Ljubljana, Slovenia
CALL FOR WORKS:
The 5th annual EarZoom sonic arts festival is launching a call for works for the first time!
We are looking for performative pieces involving new technologies from the following fields:
– electronic music hardware and software
– new interfaces for musical expression
– mobile music computing
– algorithmic composition
– live coding
We will not accept acousmatic / tape music and installation pieces,but only live performances
Accepted artist will also have the chance to present their work in form of a 15-20 minute lecture/presentation
Technical rider on our side: stereo speakers, mixing board, projector.
We will not be able to provide any other equipment.
Please apply only if you are able to self fund the travel to Ljubljana, Slovenia
We will provide hotel accommodation for selected artists during the festival.
Deadline for submissions is 15th July 2013. However, try to apply as soon as possible, since we will try to notify accepted artists as soon as possible.

Submissions must include:
– 150 word bio
– 150 word description of the proposed work.
– image of the proposed work
– link to an online (audio or video) documentation of the work
Selected authors will be notified by 30th July, latest.
