Summer/Fall 2018 Exhibitions Programming
International Open Call for New Media Artworks

Plexus Projects is seeking submissions of moving image artworks for Summer/Fall 2018 exhibitions of screen-based new media art. Submissions may include videos and animations that employ the use digital technologies including 3D scanning and modeling, data-driven and generative imaging, custom software, gaming platforms, animated GIF’s, as well as conventional digital video editing. Video documentation of interactive and physical computing projects and performances will also be considered. Screenings of selected works will be curated around themes such as “Apparatus”, “Data as Material”, “Embodied Interfaces”, “Permeable Barriers”, “Homeostasis”, and “dys(function)”.
Selected videos will be projected on an 11′ x 8’ wall in the project space and archived in an online exhibition. Submissio ns under five minutes are given priority however works of any length will be considered with the option to show an excerpt for the exhibition. Submissions may include either Vimeo or YouTube links.
