Subject matter 2024: Hopes for Peace
AIR/HMC, Budapest ArtistResidency is an opportunity for a small community of artists to work independently for a short term in Budapest. Our goal is to provide professional opportunities for individual or collaborating artists, writers and encourage experimentation and inquiry in all media. In addition to the residency, the selected artist will have the opportunity to present their works in a Gallery exhibition, also at an Artist Talk and an Open Studio.

AIR/HMC, Budapest Fees
US $25 non-refundable application fee (paid through PayPal), accepted artist per session pays $400 deposit to secure their place, and $700 for full pay at your arrival.

*Please pay by PayPal the application fee $25. Applicants also can pay the fee in their own country’s currency equivalent through HMC’s secure PayPal account.
Simply go to PayPal at https://www.paypal.com. Login or create an account, then click the “send money” tab. Fill in the recipient email: bszechy@gmail.com. Currency should be US dollars (PayPal will calculate from the current exchange rate). Category of Purchase is HMC-Cash. Payment Type: Friends and family (then PP won’t charge fees). Email subject should be AIR/HMC, Budapest 2024 and you can add an email message if you’d like. Upon receipt of your PayPal payment, you will receive an email from PayPal and the HMC confirming your payment and application, which will be matched up with your applications.
